A
Super Food can be defined as a nutrient-dense whole food,
that has living properties, such as enzymes, proteins,
essential fatty acids, carbohydrates, fiber and other
nutritional co-factors that are not available in nutritional
isolates. To be truly healthy we need to be eating living
foods and consuming, among other things, three to five
servings of raw green vegetables per day.
How
many of us can honestly say that we consume three to five
servings of these raw vegetables, such as broccoli, cauliflower,
kale, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, parsely, spinach, etc.,
each and every day? If we examine our individual eating
habits, most of us would be shocked to see how little
living food we actually eat! And yet without these necessary
nutrients in their bio-available form we not only will
not be as healthy as we could be, but we also subject
our bodies to disease.
